Therapy for Anxiety
Anxiety can show up in both the mind and body, and it doesn’t always feel like ‘worry’. For some, it feels like constant overthinking, racing thoughts, or a sense that something bad is about to happen. For others, it can feel like restlessness, irritability, or difficult turning the mind off.
In the body—it can show up as tightness in the chest, a racing heart, stomach discomfort, shallow breathing, or trouble sleeping. Some people experience anxiety as feeling ‘on edge’ or easily overwhelmed by things that seem small but feel big in the moment.
Together, we explore the patterns that keep anxiety going, including thought cycles, body responses, and stressors that may be contributing to feeling overwhelmed. We also focus on learning how to notice and work with anxiety in a way that feels more manageable, rather than fighting against it.
